A new direction!

Things have been more than busy here over the past few weeks. It pains me to say it but I’m guilty of taking on a little (ok a lot!) more than I can manage well. Doing things by halves and having eight things which are doing ok is really difficult.

So time to be honest with myself and focus, I want to be able to put 110% into everything and at least do one or two things amazing well. Therefore I had to make some big decisions…

I love blogging here but it’s a HUGE time commitment (if only it would pay my mortgage!) so I won’t be posting any more on Home and Cosy. You never know in the future I may come back to it one day, but for now my heart lies with Adore and writing about handmade weddings, which I really hope you’ll continue to support!

The good news is though that I’m starting a new venture which may interest you! From mid / late February I will be running craft workshops and parties around the East Midlands ;-) So if you enjoyed the crafty posts here you will be able to come along for a cup of tea, a slice of cake and have a go… whilst meeting lots of new lovely friends of course!

To find out more about the workshops and register your interest **click here**!

Thanks for all your understanding, I will of course leave all the content up on Home and Cosy for you to refer back to and look forward to chatting with you on Adore or at a craft workshop soon!

Bright, light, dining anyone?

Until the day that cleaning fairies are common place I will just have to dream about a white room like this….  Unless I tie dusters to the pugs feet, ban my other half from the room and make ‘reading’ the only acceptable activity in there?

A serious consideration if only I had dining room. I can tick off the colourful mis-matched chairs though, our refurbished pine kitchen table now has two pale blue chairs and two lilac chairs. Hoorah.

If you do happen to have a spare, beautifully light, spacious sunroom / dining room that you don’t know what to do with, what do you think of this bright colour palette and fresh white look?
